Chapter 947: Proposal 3
The Ferris wheel slowly descends to the ground.
The Ferris wheel box opened and a group of people jumped out.
Paula Rouco turned her head and saw Rufio, Susana and Lastra present.
Severo Laris took a small square black velvet box out of his pocket, opened it and held it in front of her.
“Amiguita Paula Rouco, do you want to marry Severo Laris for the rest of your life? The kind that never gets divorced.”
Outside the Ferris wheel, Rufio led the charge.
“Marry him! Marry him! Marry him!”
Paula Rouco looked at him dazedly on one knee and finally smiled with the corners of her lips and offered her hand, “Yes.”
Severo Laris took the woman’s ring and slipped it on her ring finger, where it was the perfect size.
He took her small hand, looked down and kissed the diamond ring on her ring finger.
And then, to the cheers of several of Rufio’s men, Severo Laris lowered Paula Rouco down the Ferris wheel.
Rufio and his team also prepared ribbons, which they sprayed on Severo Laris and Paula Rouco.
Susana asked, “Have you taped the Ferris wheel before, I want to see the details of your proposal.”
Severo Laris was certainly prepared, the proposal was premeditated and a device was placed on the Ferris wheel to film it.
Severo Laris threw that SLR at Susana.
Susana saw the video and burst into tears.
Rufio scolded her: “What a loser! Paulita, who was proposed by Severo, didn’t even cry! Why are you crying, you didn’t cry either when I proposed to you.”
Susana wiped her tears with her sleeve: “It’s not the same! It’s so touching.”
…
Back in the imperial quarter, after a shower, Severo Laris sits behind her and helps her dry her hair.
Paula Rouco leaned into his arms, took the woman’s ring from his hand, lifted it, compared it to the light and saw the small letters engraved on the inner ring.
lita love deep. mo, in a very airy, vigorous handwriting, resembling the handwriting of Severo Laris.
“The words here, did you write them?”
Severo Laris laughs, “I more or less wrote the words, but the engraving was done by the designer in the typeface I wrote.”
“Where’s yours?”
Severo Laris went to bring it and handed it to her.
Just as Paula Rouco expected, the inside ring of the men’s was engraved lita love deep. shen, a pair of rings.
Paula Rouco took her large hand and slipped the man’s ring directly onto her slender ring finger.
It is worn casually and unceremoniously.
Yet the smile on Severo Laris’ thin lips was deep.
Paula Rouco put the women’s ring on for herself.
Severo Laris reached out and took her small hand in his, two hands wearing wedding rings, their fingers entwined in a warmth between them.
Paula Rouco arched into his arms and smiled with her eyes closed, “Severo, you look so much like a relative of mine.”
“What?”
She leaned her little face into his arms, her little hand cupping the lump in her throat as she looked up at him, smiling more charmingly, “Like my father’s son-in-law.”
Severo Laris laughed too, hugged her and rolled onto the bed.
Paula Rouco was tightly wrapped around him, leaning into the crook of his neck.
She stared at the lump in her throat, her lily-white fingers digging into it, and frowned, “Severo Laris, I want you.”
Severo Laris froze and took her small, restless hand, looking at her with some embarrassment. “No set at home.”
The imperial community had rarely lived and he had not really expected her to suddenly make this request.
After learning of her illness, he never moved to touch her, though he desired her body more.
He could always tolerate this kind of physical desire; if she did not want to, he would never force it.

Paula Rouco, faded, arched in his arms and gave a low-energy “mmm.”
Severo Laris patted her on the back.
Knowing that she wasn’t really physically needy, but just longing to feel his presence, he hugged her even tighter and kissed her long and hard.
