Chapter 930: Making Her Cry
Paula Rouco heard the commotion and ran to see Aracely Belmonte walking toward the river, which was already up to her neck.
Aracely Belmonte can’t swim.
“Aracely! Aracely!”
Paula Rouco shouted to her as she called the police and an ambulance.
Thus, Severo Laris inside the black Spyker, out of their sight, got out of the car and went to look for them by the river, when he heard Paula Rouco’s cries for help.
Severo Laris’ heart leapt into his mouth and he rushed over.
Paula Rouco had just finished her phone call and was trying to find the ropes that Frisco Fontan and Aracely Belmonte had climbed when she ran into Severo Laris.
Severo Laris snapped his shoulders at her, “What happened?”.
Paula Rouco said in anguish, “Aracely jumped into the river, she can’t swim.”
Severo Laris looked toward the center of the river, where Frisco Fontan and Aracely Belmonte had slowly submerged, Aracely Belmonte struggling badly and Frisco Fontan, though he could swim, being pulled into the water.
Severo Laris calmed down: “Stay here and don’t run away, I’ll pull them up”.
Severo Laris jumped into the river and swam quickly to rescue them.
Aracely Belmonte violently pushed Frisco Fontan into the middle of the river and kept waving his hands down, Severo Laris swam over and looked for Aracely Belmonte.
He instructed Frisco Fontan, “Hold her arms and don’t let her move again!”
Severo Laris and Frisco Fontan each mastered one of Aracely Belmonte’s arms and pulled her from the center of the river to shore.
But all three choked, especially Aracely Belmonte, who had drowned and passed out by the time they pulled her ashore.
Frisco Fontan knelt beside her and squeezed Aracely Belmonte’s chest hard, “Aracely wake up! Aracely Belmonte! Aracely Belmonte wake up!”
Frisco Fontan performed CPR while giving artificial respiration.Material © of NôvelDrama.Org.
Aracely Belmonte choked violently and spit water out of her mouth.
Frisco Fontan looked at her excitedly, “Aracely, how are you?”.
Aracely Belmonte spit out a few more gulps of water and woke up fully, hugging Frisco Fontan tightly.
Aracely Belmonte cried out, “I’m sorry…. I’m sorry…”
The two men hugged each other tightly.
Paula Rouco watched with relief as Aracely Belmonte woke up.
Next to her, Severo Laris was also choking on water and his throat was so uncomfortable that he could not suppress several coughs.
Paula Rouco turned her head to look at him and asked worriedly, “Are you okay?”
Reach out and pat him on the back.
Severo Laris pinched the lump in his throat with his fingers and blushed a little as he said, “Choking, it probably won’t help hitting like this, you need artificial respiration.”
He said it so seriously that Paula Rouco didn’t react for a moment to whether it was true or not, and said earnestly, “Then you lie down.”
Severo Laris stands directly in the river.
Paula Rouco knelt beside him, leaned down and covered his mouth, giving him artificial respiration.
But as soon as the four lips met, Severo Laris’ large hands, already encircling her back, kissed her.
Paula Rouco’s eyes widened: “…”
Severo Laris clasped her in his arms and kissed her for a long time.
After the kiss, he half sat up, his arms resting on the floor, his hair short and damp, his fair features still pearly with water, and looked at her with a somewhat wandering smile, like an offal, extraordinarily seductive.
“You lied to me.” His gaze was fierce.
Severo Laris cocked the right side of his face and expected to be struck.
“Bastards!”
Paula Rouco didn’t let her hands go soft and slapped her across the face.
After the fight, Paula Rouco shoved him away, got up and walked away.
Severo Laris looked at the stubborn man from behind and realized he had made a big joke, and his long legs rushed after him.
Paula Rouco walks fast, and the faster she goes, the more her mood stirs.
I can’t tell what the mixed feelings were, the corners of his eyes were slightly reddened and he wiped them hard.
Angry and uncomfortable.
Severo Laris reached for her, grabbed her wrist and pulled her into a tight embrace.
Paula Rouco was in his arms, clenching her fists and punching him, her red, almond-shaped eyes staring at him, her chest heaving with anger.
Severo Laris really hadn’t expected to make her cry.
The man wiped the tears from the corners of her eyes with his fingers and said, “lita, don’t cry.”
Paula Rouco pulled her hand away and wiped it herself with her sleeve.
Severo Laris pulled her arm away and said softly, “You’re going to hurt your eyes like that.”
“None of your business!”
Severo Laris sighed, his eyes full of pain, his large hand wrapped around the back of her neck, his gaze boring into her eyes, “Why are you crying?”
