Devoted Love, Mr. Hayes’ Darling Wife

Chapter 1086: I declare reconciliation now.

Nico watched Micaela all night.

It wasn’t until Micaela hung three bottles of water that Nico let his guard down after probing her forehead to see how the temperature was dropping.

Behind the old windows of the small clinic, the sky outside already had a faint light.

Nico leaned his head against Micaela’s, closed his eyes slightly and drifted off to sleep.

Perhaps because he hadn’t slept well for two or three days, Nico’s sleep was unusually long.

When he woke up rubbing his eyes, he discovered that the infusion seat next to him had disappeared.

Micaela disappears into thin air.

Nico’s heart stuttered and froze for two seconds before he jerked upright and moved quickly to find someone in the clinic.

Rampage, beating up several black people.

Fuck, this woman was so heartless, she had been watching her all night and had left him without a word!

Nico gritted his teeth, not caring about anything else, and headed towards the small clinic at a brisk pace, ready to return immediately to chase the man down.

But as soon as he hurried out of the clinic, he saw Micaela coming out of the minimarket adjacent to the clinic, carrying a small white plastic bag in her hand, her eyes dull, not as sharp as usual, and looking a bit haggard after her first illness.

The morning sun enveloped his face and body, looking much softer than usual.

Nico stood in front of the clinic, just looking at her, momentarily stunned.

I thought she had left him and run off on her own, but now that I see her still here in this state, my heart is inexplicably breaking.

I can’t tell you what it feels like.

When Micaela looked up and saw him too, Nico stirred and gritted his teeth, walked over to her and grabbed her arm, pulling her into his arms and saying, as if to reprimand her, “You’re still sick, why are you running around, are you trying to feed the wolves again?”

“…”

If it hadn’t been for him, how would she have gotten to the point of feeding the wolves?

Nico hugged her tightly, head pressed tightly against her slender shoulders, putting his body weight on her little by little, trying to strangle her in his arms.

Micaela, already a man of few words, was even more speechless at that moment.

Nico let out a deep sigh, his brow furrowed, “Stop twirling around, I’m really worried.”

The movements were much gentler and the tone of voice was a change from the brutality of before, soft and affectionate, with a hint of big boy petulance.

Micaela could barely breathe from his embrace and frowned slightly, “Nico, let go.”

“Don’t let go, if you run away again, do you think I’ll break your legs?”

“… You’re strangling me so much I can’t breathe.”

“…” Nico was stunned and let go of her, his face twisted slightly as he looked at her without good grace and took the plastic bag out of her hand, “What kind of mess did you buy?”

Looking in the plastic bag, there was a toothbrush and a towel.

Neither had been washed.

I bought two toothbrushes and two towels.

Micaela really didn’t want to leave him behind.

Nico’s sense of security was filled to the brim at this moment.

The man’s thin lips couldn’t resist a slight hook.

Micaela didn’t understand what he was teasing about and just said coldly, “Go to the clinic bathroom and wash your face.”

“Oh.” Nico did as he was told.

Micaela goes in front and Nico follows behind.

Nico was still feigning coldness, but after walking for a while, he found out that this woman really treated him like air, so he couldn’t stand it anymore and stepped forward with his long legs and grabbed her hand, not letting go.

Micaela looked at him, she couldn’t break his grip, so she let go and let him hold it.

When she didn’t refuse, the corners of Nico’s mouth curved even more.

Nico couldn’t let go of her hand when he reached the clinic bathroom.

Micaela asked, “Are you going into the women’s restroom with me?”

“…” Nico’s mouth twitched in disgust as he pushed her hand away, “I’m sick of going to the women’s restroom.”

Micaela wasn’t as quick as Nico, and when Micaela came out of the women’s bathroom, she saw Nico leaning against the wall outside the bathroom, waiting for her with a grandfatherly air.

This man had been born to be a pride, a noble and unpretentious man, whether his surroundings were elegant or a neglected dump, when he was there, even the worst surroundings looked like a new and less cheap one.

As Micaela approached, Nico frowned slightly, his handsome face slightly impatient, “Slow as hell, have you fallen down a well?”.

As he lamented to her, he held out his hand, which didn’t stop him from waiting patiently as he disliked her.

Nico’s personality is terribly convoluted.

I think Nico is the one with the straight mouth.

Micaela was unenthusiastic and Nico pulled her into his arms, his big hand went to her forehead and touched her again, and the fever really dropped.

Nico asked, “Are you hungry?”

Micaela was famished. She hadn’t eaten much in two days and two nights, so how could she not be hungry, she was about to starve to death.

But Micaela looked straight at him and asked, “Why did you break up with me and come to my rescue?”

An obsessive, stubborn mess.

Nico was puzzled by her sudden question. He hadn’t really expected her to ask such a question out of the blue in her few words.

Nico’s eyes wandered for a moment before finally admitting, “You’re my wife, of course I’m going to save you, no matter that I can’t.”

“But we’ve broken up, I’m not your wife anymore.”

“…”

Hiss… what a damn thing to say this one dead in tears.

Nico repressed the urge to curse, gritted his teeth and looked at her a little fiercely, “I declare peace now!”.

“Tell me, why did you break up with me?” Micaela insisted on the question.

Nico scratched his scalp, it was killing him.

After a long moment, Nico said, “Are you flirting with Dario, and I’m not allowed to get angry and break up? Have I ever been with another woman while I was with you? And what’s with the postcard? What does Dario mean by sending you that thing, to rekindle a relationship? I don’t understand why you keep thinking about a man you left, what’s wrong with me that you’re thinking about him?”.

“Micaela, you really don’t know what’s good for you, if it were for other men, would you still care for you if you were paired like this with your ex boyfriend? I’m the only one willing to risk my life to save you, is it easy for me?”

“Dario came to your rescue? In the end, it wasn’t me.”

“Micaela, why don’t you know how to appreciate me?”

“Do you know that if you go on like this, you’ll lose me completely and regret it?”

He had a brain and said a lot of things that weren’t true.

Micaela frowned at this man, how could he be so capable of reasoning.

“I’m not paired with Dario, it was Dario’s act to send me a postcard, not that I wanted him to.”NôvelDrama.Org copyrighted © content.

“Oh, you mean you’re still thinking about him.” Nico is always so good at drilling into people’s words, and he has such a peculiar approach.

Micaela said, “I didn’t put eyes on him either, and if you saw him, it’s your imagination, not mine.”

Nico was unusual: “Oh, I’m the one who’s blind.”

Micaela bites her lip, thinking that the explanation doesn’t make sense, she doesn’t want to talk about it and leaves the clinic.

Nico followed her and grabbed her hand, “That’s it?”.

He had a look of disappointment.

Micaela wondered, “What is that?”.

Nico let out a somewhat demoralizing sigh, “I’ve said everything you wanted to know, and I’ve said everything I wanted to know, and you’re not done explaining.”

“I said it and you didn’t believe me.”

Nico said in a somewhat irritated and speechless voice, “I don’t fucking believe you, and you won’t explain, and how do you know I don’t believe you if you don’t try to explain?” “Micaela, can’t you fight for me when Dario left you and you’ve been thinking about him for years and I’ve been so fucking good to you?”.

He says break up and she accepts, without begging him, dead heartless.

“…”

Micaela thinks Nico is like a schoolboy.

Micaela chides him, “Being nice to me is getting angry and leaving me in the meadow to almost get eaten by wolves, being nice to me is breaking up with me for no reason and being broken up with without even knowing the reason, being nice to me is breaking up when you want to break up and reconciling with me when you want to reconcile, Nico, you’re like the wind, how do you make me like you, how do I fight for you, how do I keep you, how do I keep you, how do I keep you?”

Nico was stunned for a few seconds by the comment.

When Micaela went to the supermarket to buy groceries, Nico suddenly spoke behind her in a somewhat dejected and despondent manner, “It’s just that I’m insecure. I’m trying to provoke you by breaking up with you, Micaela, don’t you really understand?”.

“What time didn’t I come to you to make peace after a fight, Micaela, I always hoped there would be that time when you would beg me and I would make peace with you. But you didn’t.”

Never.

Micaela spoke lightly, “But I’m not you, you’re the one who wants to break up, and if you really want to break up, it would be useless for me to beg you.”

“How do you know it’s useless if you don’t try? Micaela, do you know that you really only have to take one step towards me and I will go the rest of the way, all the way. But you, on the other hand, you stay where you are and don’t move a single step.”

Nico, you’ve been thinking about me, and you won’t even tell me why you broke up, so how am I supposed to take that step towards you, like a directionless scattering of sand? Maybe I’d be willing to bang my head in the sand. But you, you didn’t say anything, you just wanted to break up. Which makes me think you’re just tired because you can’t say why.”
