Chapter 1012: I’m not interested in sick women.
Toss and turn in the early morning hours.
Micaela was still burning up after Nico carried her back to the apartment after hanging three bottles of water from the hospital.
Nico looked at her like she was dying and let out a cold snort, “It’s been a few months since I’ve seen you and you’ve been like this, now are you going to serve me or am I going to serve you?”
There was no lack of mockery in his tone.
Micaela smiled bitterly, slightly resting her blurry eyes to look at Nico, her throat dry and hoarse. “Mr. Nico must not have picked the right day to come to my house today.”
Nico raised an eyebrow, she was burning up like this and still had the heart to tease him.
Nico leaned close to her and teased with an unpleasant whisper in her ear, “You have to pick an auspicious day for this?”
The corner of Micaela’s mouth twitched: …
The roots of her ears, quickly filled with a scarlet red.
Although she was slow to react, she could understand her paragraph.
Nico sat leaning against the edge of the bed and just looked at her, Micaela felt uncomfortable with the look, drowsy and unable to sleep, she propped up her heavy eyelids and said, “Why don’t you turn Mr. Nico, I can’t do anything with what I have.”
She could only stare with her eyes wide open and dry.
The man said nothing and stood up indifferently.
Micaela watched as the tall, slender, noble figure walked out of the bedroom.
Micaela buried her face in the pillow and sighed softly, he was truly heartless, now she was half dead and Nico said he would leave.
Even if he was a random friend, he could have ordered her takeout instead of cooking her dinner.
Men are really unreliable.
Micaela was so hungry she reached down to cover her gurgling stomach and cursed under her breath, “Stop yelling, sleep, sleep, sleep, hello, me, everyone … will treat you tomorrow.”
Micaela mumbled to herself to calm her empty stomach.
Micaela fell asleep for an unknown amount of time and was awakened by a noise outside and a smell of food at the tip of her nose.
Had the house been burglarized?
She felt terrible, it had been a long day and everything had happened to her.
If it was a burglar, she wasn’t going to fight back later, because she didn’t have the strength to fight back.
Micaela didn’t want to bother and let herself fall back on the pillow, sleeping as if she were dead.
A firm step came closer and a male voice, cold and low, sounded over her head, “Get up.”
Nico?
Micaela looked up and saw him, “Why haven’t you left yet?”.
Nico put the plate of frozen meatballs in his hand on the counter, his eyebrows were cold and impersonal, “If you die on the floor on my behalf, the police will be looking for me for coffee tomorrow, I’m not afraid to go for coffee, but it will waste a lot of my time.”
Micaela stared at the plate of frozen meatballs and smiled a little, “Mr. Nico would have made it easy for me to order takeout.”
“I don’t eat takeout.”
In Nico’s eyes, takeout was garbage.
Micaela’s head swiveled and her watery eyes looked at Nico in disbelief, “Mr. Nico, don’t you know how to order takeout?”
Nico’s eyes twitched slightly, “…”
The man felt a little uncomfortable at his fuss and frowned slightly, saying coldly, “Is it strange that you’ve never ordered takeout? I have a special assistant and a secretary.”
Micaela got out of bed wrapped in the blanket and brought the plate of meatballs to him, sniffling in a heavy nasal tone, “That’s right, there must be someone to make you this little thing.”
Micaela took a few bites, feeling little appetite for dumplings at all, and frowned slightly.
Nico thought she was going to dislike the food she had cooked and immediately said coldly, “The master cooked your food and you still dare to pick and choose?”
Micaela looked at him dryly, “Mr. Nico misunderstood, I meant please ask Mr. Nico to move and help me pour some vinegar and hot sauce.”
Nico: “…”
This woman, she had a nerve, she even dared to make him do it.
Nico got up and walked to the kitchen with his two long legs, despite his dark face, and poured a dish of vinegar.
Micaela mashed her mouth and muttered, “Mr. Nico, did you forget the hot sauce?”.
Nico raised his eyebrows and grew fierce, “What kind of hot sauce do you eat when you’re this sick?”.
Micaela: …
Micaela’s hands are weak and her chopsticks aren’t very good, so she just dips the meatballs in the dish of vinegar and pops them in her mouth.
It didn’t smell as good without the hot sauce, but luckily there was vinegar.Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org exclusive © material.
Nico stared at the woman, his eyebrows furrowed further, what a way to eat.
What a way to eat. In front of him, she didn’t even try to hold back.
Someone kept looking at her, she thought Nico was hungry too, she pinched a dumpling and dipped it into the dish of vinegar, handing it to Nico, “Mr. Nico, I’m not going to eat alone.”
Nico’s mouth twitched slightly: …
Who wants to eat his broken frozen meatballs?
Micaela was so confused that she realized she was squeezing the meatballs with her hands and was about to take them back, smiling, “Never mind, they don’t look very clean.”
Just as she was about to take it back, the man’s big hand suddenly grabbed her wrist, bent down and ate the dumpling with his small hand.
I don’t know if it was intentional or not, but his teeth even hit Claudio’s finger not too gently, biting it disgustingly.
Micaela stood with her hand up, slightly stunned.
Nico was too old to be embarrassed and commented nonchalantly, “That’s harsh.”
There was a hint of disgust on that handsome face, unmistakable and clear.
Micaela approached his lips and beeped, “It’s horrible and you still eat it.”
Nico justified, “How would I know it’s bad if I don’t eat it.”
“…”
After Micaela finished the plate of meatballs, she saw that Nico still hadn’t left and looked at the time, 2:30 am.
“Mr. Nico, aren’t you sleepy?”
Micaela was dying of sleep and begged Nico on her knees to leave.
Nico got up from the Japanese wicker armchair and, thinking he was leaving, Micaela smiled like a flower and gestured to him, “Mr. Nico, take care, drive carefully.”
Who knows, the man, sat on her bed and then, with his long legs up, put them on her bed.
Micaela: “…”
Really?
“Mr. Nico, I have a cold and sleeping together is contagious.”
Nico looked at her coldly, “You’ve already eaten the meatballs with one hand, and now you’re talking to me about contagion.”
Under the blanket, Micaela’s faintly warm handtips tickled Nico’s bitten fingers.
Nico lay down so wide, and Micaela, seeing that he wasn’t really going anywhere, lay down too, having slept through it all, she had nothing to fear.
It was just that it was the first time she lay in bed with Nico like this, purely to sleep, and she felt strange.
Micaela tilted her head to look at the man on the pillow, “Mister Nico, are you sure you don’t want to leave?”.
Nico closed his eyes and gave a nasal hum in response.
Micaela bit her lip and said, “I kick people in their sleep and get them out of bed, Mr. Nico take care of yourself.”
Feeling a little annoyed that he was talking nonsense, Nico pulled Micaela violently into his arms and hugged her tightly.
Micaela was locked into his chest, unable to move at all, with the man’s clear chin resting on the top of her head.
Micaela nudged him unconsciously, “Mister Nico, I can’t sleep like this…”.
Nico grimaced, “If you’re not going to sleep, don’t sleep.”
The man reached out to peel his clothes, Micaela immediately behaved, like a white rabbit looking pitifully at him, the watery eyes blinked innocently at him, the nasal voice said thickly, “Mr. Nico, I’m already like this, don’t bully me, okay?”
Nico, the man, was soft touch, not hard.
If Micaela wants to live, she must be pampered.
Nico pursed his lips and ran his hands through her thick hair, holding the back of her neck and squeezing her in his arms, not in a good mood, but not intimidating her either.
The lump in the man’s throat pressed against her forehead, his vocal cords vibrated slightly, and Micaela heard him say, “I’m not interested in sickly women.”
Micaela let out a laugh and reached up to wrap her arms around his warm body, the shiver she felt in her body was much less.
