Chapter 11 I Could Destroy You at Any Minutes
Chapter 11 I Could Destroy You at Any Minutes
No matter what Colin said, Harriet just didn't agree.
Only Colin was her family right now. Harriet thought that she must keep him around to take care of him
since he finally recovered. She definitely could not have the chance to see him for about four to five
years if he really joined the army.
Colin didn't dare to provoke Harriet. He remained silence since she did not agree no matter how he
tried to persuade her. Anyway, he still had time and maybe Harriet would support him.
"Harriet, where is mom?" Colin asked. He really hadn't seen their mom for a long time and he missed
her very much, "Didn't Mom have a phone with her?"
"Yes, no cellphone is allowed in that place." Harriet followed his words. "Mom is so worried about you
since you have been in coma for a long time, so she just went far away to pray for you."
Colin moved his lips and wanted to say something. Published by Nôv'elD/rama.Org.
Harriet directly blocked what he was going to say and smiled, "I will contact her and let her come back
as soon as possible. But if you are willing, I would like to introduce you with your brother-in-law first."
Colin was deflected as expected, thinking excitedly, "Really, brother-in-law is back? What does he think
of your pregnancy?"
"He is thrilled." Harriet felt a glimpse of guilty. She patted Colin's head, "Your brother-in-law is also very
glad to know that you are awake. He would like to meet you."
"Great. Let’s arrange the schedule!"
Harriet nodded with relief.
Anyway, it’s fine that Colin didn't bother her about their mom.
When Wesley came back, Harriet asked him for the favor. Wesley only said that he needed to check if
he had spare time during those two days, but Harriet was already grateful for his words.
After all, Wesley had a full schedule every day, working for the company day and night. She was not
that important for him. It could be difficult to ask him for help.
Irene never found Harriet troubles on the set and just filmed the scene regularly, but she became more
and more proud, especially when facing Harriet, acting like a desperate person would finally turn on the
tide.
Harriet perceived her behaviors in her eyes and didn't pay much attention to it. She was worried about
Colin's recovery. She also asked the cleaner to clean up the house she bought before.
The money she got from Wesley was saved except for Colin's treatment costs. Last year, she spotted
that the real estate in the western suburbs was good and bought an apartment with the help from her
friend.
Colin recovered quickly, and it was not long before he walked like a normal person. Harriet took him to
live in the western suburbs since the doctor confirmed that he was pretty healthy and allowed him to be
discharged from the hospital.
They arrived at the apartment in the western suburbs when Wesley texted her, saying that he was free
tonight.
Harriet asked Colin to take a bath and change clothes.
When Colin heard that he was going to meet his future brother-in-law, he was very excited. He
suggested he should buy some new clothes. Harriet took him to the wardrobe in the bedroom. A variety
of suits and sportswear were piled up in it.
Colin was stunned. "Harriet, are these all for me?"
"Yes." Harriet gave him a white glance. "These clothes have been untouched for almost a year. And
thanks god you can wear them from now on instead of letting them covered by dust. Next time, let’s go
shopping together and buy you a few more suits."
Harriet tried to disguise her emotion, but her eyes were red.
Colin knew that Harriet had been worried him for a long time, and hugged her shoulders, "Harriet,
please be reassured, I will always be with you and take care of you and mom. I will not let you sad
anymore!"
"Just change your clothes." Harriet patted his hand and turned to go out, warm in heart.
Colin was only nineteen years old this year, but he was thin and 6.1 feet tall. He turned out to be social
elite once he wore the suit with a sharp glamour in his eyes.
Harriet tied for him and they left the bedroom.
Wesley preferred eating at home so Harriet bought food and prepared for the dinner at the apartment.
Colin tried to help, but Harriet pushed him away.
Colin had nothing to do, appreciating at the exquisite apartment while eating an apple. The leather
sofas, expensive European chandeliers, and celadon vases with flowers, they were all very costly.
Colin felt something wrong when he kept walking around the house.
He knew that Harriet and Wesley lived here together, but there were too few man daily necessities--a
few pairs of shoes, and a few suits in the closet, and the rest are all lady dresses.
Did Harriet have a bad relationship with Wesley?
