Chapter 15 Golden, I Hate You
Chapter 15 Golden, I Hate You
An hour later, Margery stood inside the parlor of the villa of the Bryne family with Andrew by her side.
She often came here to do some cleaning when she was free and she would also bring some commodities here. So, though the villa looked empty, it was still clean. After feeding Andrew some food, she took him to take a shower and then tucked him in. Margery lay on the bed exhaustedly, feeling so tired that she didn't even want to nudge a bit.
When she was about to fall asleep, suddenly, the light was on.
Margery opened her eyes slightly. When she noticed that it was Golden, whom she hadn't seen for ten days, she suddenly trembled all over as a cold shiver ran down her spine.
She immediately sat straight up on the bed and tried to block his sight falling on Andrew with her weak and thin body. She raised her haggard face to stare at him. Then she pretended to stay composure as much as she could, "Golden, it's too late. You can't take him away! He is afraid of darkness!"
When hearing that, Golden sneered. Though his clear-cut face was deadly attractive under the dim light, he still looked horribly threatening, "You sneaked through the discharge procedure and went back to the old villa instead of home. Tell me, did you want to run away with Andrew?"
"I…"
Margery had no idea what to respond. She slightly moved her lips but failed to utter.
She was wondering if she should confess that she happened to eavesdrop on the conversation between him and Vivian.
Under the cold gaze of Golden, Margery had no idea what to say. She licked her own lips subconsciously.
When seeing her sweet tongue moving around her pale lips, Golden was suddenly rendered a bit intoxicated.
He suddenly squinted at her and fixed his eyes on her fair neck. Then he shifted his gaze down her delicate collarbone and went straight into the fair skin of her chest covered beneath her night dress. Property © of NôvelDrama.Org.
Though he hated her so much, he still couldn't help having a hard-on because of her.
Golden still remained silent though she had been waiting for a while. She raised her head with confusion. However, when noticing that he fixed his eyes on her neckline, she suddenly realized that she meant nothing to him but a tool for him to vent out his desire. She let out a bitter smile and said while biting her lips, still pretending to be calm, "Since both you and Vivian love each other so deeply. I believe that you will soon have your own baby with her. So there's no need for you to keep Andrew. So…let's divorce! I want nothing but Andrew! Don't worry! I can live on my own after divorce. I can bring him up on my own. I won't marry any other guy. I won't engage in a relationship with another man! If you don't believe me, we can sign a contract!"
When seeing her trying so hard to run away from him, Golden was rendered a bit sullen. He frowned and didn't respond. Suddenly, he reached out his clear-cut fingers to pinch her jaw. He pinched so hard that her face was even about to be twisted.
She even failed to utter out of pain and her face turned pale.
However, Golden still stared at her with his threatening eyes, "Your run-away trick won't work! My family will have a reunion banquet tomorrow evening. After attending the banquet, you have to take Andrew with you and go back to the East Villa! If I didn't see both of you then, you would never have the chance to see Andrew again!"
When hearing his cold threat, Margery had no choice but to nod while her lips were still trembling out of fear.
Golden then let out a sneer and let go of her. Then he stepped out of the bedroom.
At 8:00 AM the next morning, Margery was about to go out with Andrew, who was wearing a children's black suit. Suddenly, engine sounded outside the villa.
Then, a chauffeur got off the limousine and ran in front of her. Then he said with great respect, "Ms. Bryne, Mr. Barrett makes me here to drive you to the Mansion."
When hearing him addressing her as Ms. Bryne, Margery couldn't help frowning. She looked at the chauffeur, who was strong and young. Then she said, "Please hold on. I need to make a call to check."
Then she made a call to Golden. The line wasn't connected until quite a while later.
"What's the matter?" his cold voice sounded.
"Did you make your chauffeur here to drive me and Andrew to the Mansion?"
"Yes."
"Okay, I got…" Before she could finish, the phone was hung up.
Obviously, Margery had been used to his indifference. She put her phone into her handbag and bent over to hold Andrew up. Then they got into the car. The chauffeur started the engine again.
When the car passed by a deserted crossroad, Margery noticed the weird smile on Chauffeur's face. Suddenly, she had a bad feeling, "What are you doing?"
"Ms. Bryne, you should know that how much Mr. Barrett love Miss Martin. In order to marry her aboveboard and get her off all kinds of gossips, Mr. Barrett told me that both you and your son have to die!"
While smiling evilly, the chauffeur got off the car and locked the doors. Then he poured gas onto the car. He took out a lighter and lit it up. Then it was thrown onto the top of car.
The fire gulped the car instantly. As the doors were all locked and there was no one around, there was no way for her to escape.
'Golden, you bastard! You pretended to show me mercy last night and forced me and Andrew to attend your family banquet! But actually, burning us to hell is your only purpose!'
'Why? Why don't you just kill us and let go of Andrew?!'
Margery's face turned deadly pale. She hugged Andrew tightly into her arms, who still knew nothing about it. She gritted her teeth and stressed every single word with her bloody eyes wide opened as if they were about to bleed, "Golden Barrett! I hate you! I will never fall in love with you even if I had a second chance!"
The fire kept burning her hairs, her face, her arms and her chest. The sharp agony totally gobbled her up.
At the same time, Golden was walking around the showcases in the most high-end luxury store in H City, while Vivian was holding his arm intimately.
The manager of the store bent over to say fawningly, "Mr. Barrett, what do you think about this diamond ring? It's a unique limited edition, which symbolizes the everlasting love of couple."
Golden still remained silent. He tilted his head to look at Vivian.
"Golden, I really love it at first sight."
Vivian stared at this charming man whose body was slender and well-shaped. She bit her lips and said gently, looking a bit awkward, "I am really happy if you buy me this. But…Margery is still your wife… Golden, just don't buy the ring. I don't want to make you embarrassed. Nor do I want to hurt Margery."
"Just leave that vicious woman alone!"
Golden squinted, "It was she that got you lying in hospital for three years! If it weren't because of the fact that you were fortunate enough to wake up from coma, I would definitely torture her to death!" His eyes were freezing cold.
Vivian let out a tender smile. She nodded slightly with complacence hidden in her beautiful eyes.
Suddenly, his phone rang.
Vivian immediately got her own hands off his arm and stepped aside.
Golden walked away to answer the phone.
However, the agitated voice of his chauffeur sounded, "Mr. Barrett, the car you sent to pick up Mrs. Barrett and Andrew suddenly exploded. They were killed in the accident!"
"What?" his face suddenly turned deadly pale.
