“I was just about to call you, when will you be bringing the kids home? I prepared their favorite food and it’s getting cold already.
Before you start questioning me, I didn’t prepare it myself, the maids helped me, I only gave them directions” Hannah said and Brandon paused without saying a word.
“Why ain’t you saying anything?” Hannah asked
“I thought the kids were with you, they are not in school,” Brandon said and Hannah laughed
“What are you talking about? What do you mean?” Hannah asked as she felt her spirit leave her body immediately. Brandon went quiet and didn’t say a word.
“Don’t tell me my kids are missing. I’m going to the school to find them immediately” Hannah said
“Do not leave the house, I’m sure they are okay. I’m coming home now, do not leave the house” Brandon said and ended the call.
He picked up his car key and rushed out of the company. He hopped into his car, picked up his phone, and dialed Liam’s number.
“The kids are not home either,” Brandon said
“What?” Liam muttered
“I need you to search the entire school building, if possible go through the school CCTV Camera and see if you can find anything,” Brandon said and with that, he ended the call.
He wondered where the octuplets had gone, they wouldn’t just leave the school like that. He knew the octuplets were disciplined kids and they wouldn’t leave the school like that, something must have happened. Or have they been kidnapped?
No, this can’t be true. Just today I took the kids to school and they’ve been kidnapped. He needed to get home to comfort his wife while Liam searched for the kids, he thought as he rode the car at full speed.
His car came to a halt in front of Colby’s mansion. He alighted the car and rushed inside the mansion only to see Hannah pacing to and fro.
“Hannah” Brandon called and she turned to him as he walked towards her.
“What happened? Where are my children? This is all your fault, if you had let me take my children to school myself, this wouldn’t have happened. I need my children back, go bring me back my kids” Hannah kept yelling as she hit Brandon on his chest with her both hands.
She felt a sharp pain in the hand she was shot and suddenly she started bleeding. She didn’t care that she was now bleeding on her hands, she kept hitting Brandon on his chest.
“Hannah!” Brandon called as he held her hands making her stop. Tears kept pouring out of her face non-stop. It breaks Brandon’s heart to see her in tears.
Before, he could remember how it made him happy whenever he saw her sad but now, it broke him into pieces.
“Come here,” Brandon said as he helped her sit on the couch. He went upstairs to his room and brought out his first aid box.
It was the stitches that got loose that’s why it was bleeding. He took the hands, cleaned them, and stitched them back.
When he was done, he dressed the hand and asked the maid to clean the blood and whatever was on the ground.
Hannah then stood up and went upstairs to her room with tears in her eyes. She needed to change her clothes because it was now stained with blood, so she could go look for her octuplets.
“Hannah! Hannah!” Brandon called as he followed her to the room but Hannah paid no attention to her.
“Hannah please,” Brandon said and Hannah turned to him at once.
“What do you want from me? I want my kids back Brandon, without them I cannot live, they are the reason I kept fighting till this day.
They are my only source of happiness, please I need my children back.
What if someone had kidnapped them and is maltreating them? What if they are hungry, what if someone is trying to harm them or they are in some sort of trouble” Hannah kept on talking nonstop. She felt like she was going crazy.
“I need to call my mom, maybe she can help me find them,” she said and then Brandon moved towards her and hugged her while patting her back.
“Shhh, calm down. I’m sure they are fine. I’m gonna find them and make sure they are okay, alright, trust me” Brandon said as he pulled away from the hug staring deep into Hannah’s eyes, deep inside her like he was searching for something.
Hannah didn’t know why, while he stared into her eyes and spoke, it felt like magic, she became calm instantly and she didn’t know why she believed what he said. That he would find them and make sure they are fine.
Just then he heard his phone ring. He checked the caller’s ID and saw it was Liam.
“Liam, any news?” Brandon asked
“No, not yet. The CCTV footage was disabled a few hours ago” Liam said
“So, this is to say, no one in the school, not even the security, saw the kids leave? No one? I’m going to sue the school, because how can a child go missing on their watch?” Brandon said and Liam sighed. He knew the principal was now in big trouble.
“Do you want me to call the DPO?” Liam asked
“No, I do not want to involve the police. I will do things my way. organize a private search team, I want them to be found as soon as possible,” Brandon said with so much anger in his voice.
“Yes sir,” Liam said in response.
“And one more thing, find out where my grandma is… I need to know if she’s involved in this too or not” Brandon said and with that, he ended the call and then stared at Hannah who was looking so nervous.
She felt like she was gonna have a heart attack soon. A Lot of thoughts going through her mind making her lost.
“Hey, Hannah,” Brandon said as he moved towards her and then pulled her into a warm hug.
“We will find them, you do not have to worry” he whispered and Hannah closed her eyes as tears slipped down from her closed eyes down to her chubby kids.

Meanwhile, Jeff is seen in his office speaking to his secretary when he suddenly heard his phone ring.
It was a call from his mom, Rosa.
He wondered what she wanted, he had asked her to go pick up David from school, what else does she want to ask now, he thought as he answered the phone call.
Immediately he answered the phone call, he heard the sound of someone crying. It was the sound of his mom’s voice.
“Mom, are you alright?” Jeff asked
“No, Jeff I’m not alright. David is missing”
