“At least I’m not an adult everyone hates,” she said as she stood up, and with that, she walked away.

Meanwhile, Hannah had woken up feeling extremely tired and sick. Her body was burning hot.

She checked the time and noticed she was late for the office.

It was then she noticed she had locked the door and there was no way anyone would have gotten in.

But they should have knocked, she thought as she picked up her phone and saw thirty missed calls from Brandon.

Shit! I’m late for the board meeting, she thought and then managed to walk out of the room and went downstairs to get some drugs and coffee.

She got downstairs and there she met Lisa sitting on the dining chair. She sighed and then sat on the chair opposite hers and asked the maid to bring her some coffee and a drug.

Lisa raised her head and stared at her. She noticed the look on her face like she was sick.

“Are you okay?” She asked as Hannah touched her forehead.

Hannah turned to her.

“And since when did you care if I was okay or not?” She asked and Lisa sighed,

“Fine, I don’t care but you look like someone who’s about to die and you are sitting in front of me and if you die here in front of me, everyone is going to accuse me of killing you and if I try defending myself no one would believe me because they know how much I hate you and they hate me too.

And I would probably spend the rest of my life in jail. So, I don’t want that” she said and Hannah sighed.

“Just shut up,” Hannah said as the maid bought the cup of coffee and told her she would go get drugs from the nearest store.

“If you need help getting to the hospital I could take you there, as much as I want you dead, I don’t want to spend my life in jail,” she said and brought out her phone to call Brandon since Hannah wasn’t responding to her.

“You know what? I’m just gonna leave the house in case anything happens” she said and then stood up to leave when the front door opened revealing Brandon.

“Hannah, I have been calling you, I left some files in my study room, I had wanted you to bring them when coming to the……” Brandon paused when she saw the look on Hannah’s face.

“Are you alright?” He asked but Hannah didn’t say a word. Brandon then turned to Lisa.

“What did you do to her?” He asked at once and Lisa opened her eyes wide in shock.

“What? I didn’t do anything to her. Hannah could you please tell him I didn’t do anything to you” Lisa said and Hannah sighed softly.

“I’m fine Brandon, I’m just stressed from work,” Hannah said and Lisa heaved a sigh of relief.

“We should take you to the hospital, ” Brandon said.

“What’s wrong with her?” Lucas asked as she walked towards them.

“Oh my goodness!” Lisa yelled as she opened her eyes and mouth wide in shock like she’d seen something.

“What?” Everyone asked as they turned to her.

“She’s pregnant, ” Lisa yelled.

“What?” Lucas muttered as he turned to both Hannah and Brandon.

“And Lucas is the father of the child,” Lisa said and everyone yelled at once.

“What?-”

“What? I’m telling the truth, I saw Hannah sneaking out of Lucas’s room, she must be pregnant for him,” Lisa said with a shrug and Hannah frowned.

Brandon then turned to Lucas.

“What? Don’t give me that look, nothing is going on between your wife and i. Lisa is only doing what she knows how to do best, lie” Lucas said and Lisa rolled her eyes.

“I’m not lying to you Brandon, why don’t you ask him why Hannah was in his room a week ago?” Lisa said and Lucas gritted his teeth.

“Fine, I was drunk, Lisa helped me to my room and that was all….”

“Oh, you want to tell me that was the only thing that happened?” Lisa said.

“Yes, that was the only thing that happened, can you just stop what you are doing, not everyone is like you-”

“Oh, you are calling me a whore when you are the man whore who loves your brother’s wife -”

Hannah closed her eyes as she was tired of Lucas and Lisa arguing. Her head was aching at the noise.

“Can you both shut up, I’m not pregnant” she said and they both became silent as they turned to her.

Hannah sighed and just then she felt like she was about to throw up, she rushed outside and threw up.

Lisa, Lucas, and Brandon stared at each other and went after her.

They all stood hands akimbo outside as they watched Hannah who was also staring at them.

“Stop giving me that look, I’m not pregnant, ” she said as she wiped her lips and Lisa scoffed.

“You are giving off signs of pregnancy, ” Lisa said and Lucas turned to Brandon.

“You have eight kids Brandon and Mellisa making it nine, and you still got her pregnant, do you plan on giving birth to the whole world?” Lucas asked and Brandon sighed and turned to Hannah who had a confused expression on her face.

“I’m not pregnant, I and Brandon haven’t even had…..”

“That’s enough, you need to rest Hannah,” Brandon said, cutting off her speech as he knew she was about to tell everyone they hadn’t had sex yet.

He moved towards Hannah, carried her in his arms, and walked inside the house leaving Lisa and Lucas all alone.

They both shut each other a deadly glare and then went their separate ways.
