“He found out Lisa had been living on the outskirts of Atlanta and she had stayed alone all these years without a child.

She didn’t have any child with her,” she said and Hannah raised her eyebrows confused.

“She lied that she had left because of the kids and had been taking care of her. She was never with any child nor Mellisa. She stayed alone.

Now, the question is, Does the child belong to Brandon? I don’t think the child is Brandon’s. This is one of her schemes again” Arianna said and Hannah sighed.

“What are we going to do?” Hannah asked.

“I need to tell Brandon,” Arianna said.

“No, we can’t. He already believes the child is his and we do not have any concrete proof yet, we need more evidence” Hannah said and Arianna sighed.

“Micheal is still doing more findings,-”

“Till then we would tell no one about what you found,” Hannah said and Arianna nodded in response.

Meanwhile, the octuplets and Mellisa could be seen in the room. Mellisa had joined them in playing video games.

She didn’t know how to play it but Jayden had taught her.

“So, what school did you attend Mellisa?” Allison asked.

“Uhm, sorry I can’t say,” she said as she continued playing her game. The kids stared at each other.

“You could tell us more about yourself, we want to know you better,” Jayden said and Mellisa sighed.

“I’m sorry, I can’t say anything to you guys,” she said again and Aubrey rolled her eyes.

“But why? We wanna be your friend,” Addison said.

“I’m sorry I can’t be your friend. Aunt Lisa, I mean my mommy asked me to not be friends with you guys and not to answer any damn question you guys ask me.

She said you guys are smart although the eight of you look dumb to me, no offense” She turned to the kids and then smiled before she continued playing her game.

“What? Did you just call us dumb?” Jasper asked with a surprised look on their face.

“Don’t tell your mommy please, I heard she’s crazy pants, although she was nice to me just now, I wonder why my mommy said she’s crazy. Well, it doesn’t matter” she said and then smiled when she won the game.

“But…” Jayden, who was about speaking, paused when the door opened revealing Lisa.

“Okay now honey, we need to go get you some new clothes” Lisa who had just entered the room spoke and the kids stared at her weirdly, wondering what happened to her hair. If she had gotten into a fight because the hair was scattered.

“Can I spend the night with them in this room? I like this room, it’s so cool and there are lots of toys, unlike my house ….”

“Mellisa, stand up let’s go,” she said with gritted teeth as she kept blinking her eyes for her not to say any more word and suddenly pulled her up and dragged her out of the room.

“What do you think you are doing? You are going to expose me” Lisa whispered and she rolled her eyes.

“I haven’t told you this, I do not like the name, Mellisa. It cringes and makes me wanna puke. Ugh, my school bully has that name too. Can you just call me my real name, Adrianna” she said and Lisa clenched her fist.

“Don’t test me Adrianna else I’m going to kill you. You better do the job I paid your grandmother for, otherwise your grandma would go back to that hospital bed and I wouldn’t sponsor her treatment anymore ” she said and Adrianna stared at her with a sad look on her face and then nodded.

“What’s wrong, is everything alright?” They heard Brandon’s voice from behind.

“Oh Brandon you are here, Mellisa and I were about to go get dressed. We would be going to the boutique to get her some clothes, Isn’t it honey?” Lisa asked as she stared at the little child.

“What’s wrong with her?” Brandon asked

“She’s just sad I called her from the kid’s room. She said she wanted a room like theirs with lots of toys-”

“She could share with the octuplets”

“I don’t want Hannah getting mad. My kids are spending more time with her kids” she said calmly.

“She wouldn’t. She should bond with the kids besides they are siblings ” he said and she stared at him without saying a word.

“Okay, I would ask Alex to set up a room for her with any kind of toy she wants. If she needs anything, do not hesitate to tell me,” Brabdon said and Lisa nodded.

“Brandon” she called and he raised his eyebrows while staring at her waiting for her to speak.

“Now that Mellisa is back and our family is complete again, maybe we could go back to the way we were before and start all over again,” she said as she put her hands on his chest.

He pulled her hands away from his chest.

“I have a wife, Lisa and I love her, nothing can come between us, not even you,” he said as he pushed her away.

She scoffed.

“Oh, ignorant Brandon, you do not know your precious wife is having an affair with Lucas,” she said and Brandon stared at her perplexed wondering what she was talking about.

“What are you talking about?” Brandon asked and Lisa smiled.

” Your precious wife is having an affair with your brother right under your nose and you do not even know?” She paused and sighed.

“Well, I saw your wife coming out of Lucas’s room last night. Maybe you should ask her what she was doing there” she said and when she saw the look on his face she smiled and walked away.

She had asked a maid to keep an eye on Hannah, and the maid had told her she saw Lucas and Hannah at the wine cellar last night and they both went to Lucas’s room.

The look on Brandon’s face changed. Was Hannah really with Lucas last night? Was that the reason she had come into the room so late and tired?
