“Okay, what do you guys want?” Jessica asked.

” Simple, we want you to prepare us Chicken soup, potato chips, pancakes, fried chicken, pasta and meatballs and rice. We want you to prepare them for us today” they said and Jessica smiled.

“I thought you guys were going to ask for something impossible. It’s easy, consider it done. I would ask the maid to prepare it” Jessica said and stood up.

The kids gave her a weird look, she wondered what was wrong.

“What?” She asked.

“We don’t want the maids to prepare it, we want you to prepare it,” they said and the look on Jessica’s face became a horrific one:

“What? I can’t cook, you don’t expect me to go into the kitchen and start cooking when there are tons of maids to do it” Jessica said and the kids shrugged.

“Okay, ask the maid to do everything then. We can’t do what you are asking for ” Addison said and they looked away from her and continued what they were doing before she came.

She gritted her teeth, what she asked them was to help her frustrate Lisa and now they are trying to frustrate her instead, wow, she thought.

“I would love to but I don’t know how to cook,” she said and the kids stared at each other.

“You could learn it online or ask grandma for directions, you could ask my mom too, she cooks good food, “Jasper said and Jessica sighed.

“Besides, we need strength for the kind of job you are asking us to do. So we need food which gives strength” Audrey said and Jessica clenched her fist.

“Okay fine, you would get the food today, and you would do what I asked for. Do we have a deal?” she asked and the kids smiled.

“A deal is a deal,” Jayden said and Jessica rolled her eyes.

“Don’t forget to make fresh orange and apple juice too” Jamie said with a smile on his face.

“And most importantly, please it should have taste and we do not want to visit the toilet regularly after eating the food. You know what we are talking about” Jason said and Jessica hummed.

Are they trying to mock me that I do not know how to cook? She hummed and just then she saw Matthew climbing down the stairs.

“Hey, here’s the phone,” he said as he gave her the phone but he couldn’t help but notice the look on her face.

“What’s wrong?” Matthew asked.

“Nothing, I’m perfectly fine and happy” she smiled as she gritted her teeth and stared at the kids who were smiling at them.

“Is the car key with you? We are going to the grocery store downtown to get some foodstuff ” Jessica said and Matthew stared at her confused and surprised at the same time.

“Foodstuff, for what?” He asked.

“I’m going to be preparing dinner this evening, I feel so generous,” she said, forcing herself to smile.

“But I thought you said you hate cooking?” Matthew asked and Jessica smiled and touched his shoulder.

“Honey, I’m feeling generous and want to cook for the whole family today,” she said with a smile on her face.

“Not the whole family, just us Aunt Jessica” Allison said Jessica pointed a finger at her with a smile on her face and then walked out of the house.

Matthew stared at the kids and wondered what was going on. He then walked out of the house trailing behind Jessica.

Meanwhile, Lisa had left the house for the saloon to fix her hair. She showed the hair stylist the kind of style she wanted and it was exactly the style on Hannah’s hair.

A straight long black hair. The difference was that it was Hannah’s natural hair but hers was gonna be a wig that looked like her hair.

After she was done, she smiled at the hairstylist. She’s done a good job and for that, she gave her a tip and with that, she walked out of the saloon.

The moment she walked out, she placed a call to her best friend Jules, so they could go shopping. She needed to get some mini sexy wear. She was about to set the house on fire with her new hot looks.

It wasn’t long before her best friend Jules came in a cab. She entered the cab and smiled when she saw Jules.

“You look different and what happened to your face?” Jules asked.

“Yeah, I changed my hair. Hannah pulled my hair and pushed me in the pool today. She bit me” she said and Jules placed her hands on her mouth with surprise written all over her face.

“What?” She muttered.

“It’s fine, I’m going to handle her. She’s small compared to the people I have dealt with in the past” Lisa said and Jules smiled.

“So, how is Lucas treating you? The last time I saw him, he almost choked me to death” Jules said with an eye roll.

“I have got him handled. He thinks I came back for him and that I love him. He doesn’t know it’s Brandon I came for. Damn! He was all over me all the time seeking attention like some two years old craving mommy’s attention. It annoys me” she said and Jules scoffed.

“That’s how men are when they are in love with you. If you ask for my opinion, Lucas still loves you and is willing to start over after everything, why not just focus on him, it’s rare to see men who love someone this day” Jules said and Lisa rolled her eyes.

“It’s Brandon I want and no one else,” she said, and just then the cab came to a stop in front of the boutique. They paid the cab man before walking inside the boutique.

“So, what kind of dress are we shopping?” Jules asked.
