Cinderella And Her Beautiful Octuplets

Chapter 168

Chapter 168

Meanwhile, Hannah who was in her room heard noises from downstairs and decided to come see what was going on.

To her surprise, she saw The FBI taking Arianna away and Brandon was seen on a phone call speaking with the DPO.

“What’s going on?” Hannah asked and Brandon who was on the phone hung up and then turned to Hannah.

“I just heard from the DPO that someone testified that she saw Mom kill Robert, an eye witness, ” Brandon said and Hannah stared at him confused.

“That’s not true, she didn’t leave the house last night, she would never do such a thing,” Hannah said looking so worried.

“I think whoever killed Robert is trying to frame Mom for it,” Jessica said and Brandon sighed as text messages kept popping up on his phone.

“I know, that’s why I’m going to the station now and I’m going to bail her out. You all just have to calm down” Brandon said and was about to leave when Hannah called his name.

“Brandon” she called and he turned to her.

“I’m coming with you,” she said and Brandon stared at her for a few seconds and nodded in response.

They both walked out of the house, hopped inside the car and zoomed off to the station.

At the station, Arianna, Hannah, and Brandon are seen walking out of the station with security officers trying to protect them from the paparazzi while escorting them to their car.

Brandon and Hannah had already bailed Arianna.

“These charges are a joke. I didn’t kill Robert” Arianna muttered the moment they entered the car.

“I know Mom, I believe you, you are going to be fine, everything is going to be fine,” Hannah said as she held Arianna’s hands while consoling her.

Meanwhile Brandon on the other hand didn’t say a word, all that was on his mind was who killed Robert and then framed Arianna for it.

The only person he knew was capable of such, was Elizabeth but after her surgery, she left the country, Jessica saw to that.

Brandon wondered who it might be. Someone that hates his mom so much and would want to get rid of her. Someone who also hates Robert and would want to get rid of him too.

There was only one person, it was Wilson Colby.

No, it’s not possible, he isn’t back in Atlanta, Brandon thought and quickly shook off the thoughts of his father in his mind. He didn’t want to believe he was back in town.

He was jolted out of his thoughts by the sound of Arianna’s phone which wouldn’t stop vibrating.

“My contacts are trying to reach me and asking if I’m fine, they must have seen the news,” Arianna said as she stared at Brandon from the rearview mirror who hadn’t said a word since they left the station.

Hannah wondered what was on Brandon’s mind and why he hadn’t said a word.

Meanwhile, Jessica is seen in the sitting room pacing to and fro looking so worried, she had wanted to call Brandon and asked if they’d left the station when she saw the news of the police officer escorting them to the car.

This means Arianna had been bailed and they were coming back home. She heaved a sigh of relief and sat down.

She wondered who had killed Robert and framed her mother for it. She was in a deep thought when she heard noises that jolted her out of her thoughts.

She raised her head and saw the octuplets climbing down the stairs while talking to each other.

They don’t know what’s going on, Jessica thought as she stood up and walked towards them.

“Why ain’t you guys in school?” She asked and the kids raised their eyebrows staring at her confused Jessica also stared at them confused wondering why they were giving her that look.

“What?” She asked and the kids gazed at each other and then turned to Jessica.

“Today is Sunday Aunt Jessica,” Allison said and Jessica sighed and touched her forehead.

She had even forgotten it was Sunday.

“Where’s mommy and daddy?” Jayden asked and Jessica paused thinking of the lie she was going to say.

She can’t tell them they went to bail their grandma out of prison.

“Uhm, they went out to get something, they went out with grandma to get something from the mall” Jessica stuttered and then smiled and the kids stared at her suspiciously.

“Aunt Jessica, why do I feel you are lying?” Addison said as she placed her hands on her waist and Jessica bit her inner lips.

“And since when did mom, dad, and grandma start going to the mall together?” Jamie asked and Audrey shrugged.

“Ask Aunt Jessica,” Aubrey said and Jessica gritted her teeth. Yeah, she had almost forgotten the kids were smart.

“I know Mom and Dad could go to the mall together, but Grandma would never go with them, now where is Mom, Dad, and Grandma?” Jasper asked and Jessica tightened her fist.

These kids were gonna frustrate the hell outta her today. Now, she wished today was Monday instead of Sunday.

“They went…….” Jessica paused and they all turned to the direction of the door when they heard a knock on the door.

Seems like they are back, she thought and went to open the door. She was shocked at the person she saw at the door.Content is property of NôvelDrama.Org.

“Matthew” she called and Matthew smiled at her.

“Surprise, are you not gonna invite me in?” Matthew asked and Jessica who was still in shock laughed.

“Sure, come in,” she said, still trying to recover from the shock of seeing Matthew.

Meanwhile, the octuplets hummed the moment Matthew walked in.

They recognized him because they had seen him in their house a few times before. But what they didn’t know was what relationship he had with Jessica, as they hadn’t had the time to find out about it.

Matthew smiled and turned only to notice eight little children staring at him with a weird look on their faces.
