Chapter 132

Brandon and Hannah had gotten to the company. Hannah immediately came out of the car and entered the company.

She pressed the button to the elevator and entered. Just as she came out of the elevator, she saw two employees gossiping, and talking about her.

They hadn’t noticed Hannah’s presence.

“She slept her way to the top,” one of the employees said.

“I knew it, she must have seduced Mr Colby into marrying her and giving her the position of the chief operating officer” the other added and Hannah cleared her throat.

They both turned and saw Hannah. They covered their mouths and bowed their heads with shock in their eyes.

“This is a place of work and not a place to gossip, the both of you are fired,” Hannah said and walked past them.

They both stared at each other with the look of disappointment on their faces.

After she had gotten to her office, she closed the door behind her and dropped her bag on the table.

She wondered if these employees these days have no work other than gossiping.

She sat down and began work immediately. Just then the door burst open revealing Brandon.

Hannah raised her head and saw the CEO in her office.

“You should learn to knock before walking in,” Hannah said with a frown on her face.

“And the last time I checked, I am the chief operating officer,” Hannah said as she rested her back on her chair. All her attention was now on Brandon.

“What brought you here?” Hannah asked

“I heard you fired two of my employees, ” Brandon said as he picked up a file from Hannah’s table and opened it.

“Yes I did, is that the reason you came here?” Hannah said with so much authority in her voice, and Brandon sighed softly and kept the file back on her table.

“Well, I came here for something else, not that.

There’s a new company that has recently opened here in Georgia.

The CEO wants to meet and partner with us, you will be coming with me to meet him.

The meeting is today by 4 pm” Brandon said and Hannah nodded in response.

Brandon glared at her without saying a word and then he walked out.

Hannah on the other hand wondered why he had just left like that. It wasn’t the typical Brandon. Brandon always loved getting on her nerves, she wondered if something was wrong.

She quickly waved off the thoughts of him from her head.

Meanwhile, Jeff is seen sitting at a restaurant when Elizabeth strolls in and sits close to him.

“What took you so long?” Jeff asked with a frown on his face.

“There was traffic. I saw the statement you gave to the press, was it really necessary?” Elizabeth asked as she dropped her bag and removed her jacket.

“Jessica deserves that, now the whole world would know the kind of person she is,” Jeff said and Elizabeth rolled her eyes.

“She’s still my daughter and I care about her besides you started all of this, ” Elizabeth said and Jeff scoffed

“If she’s your granddaughter and you care about her, you wouldn’t be here in the first place, now tell me what deal you have and what truth you told my mother you would tell me,” Jeff said and Elizabeth sighed.

“Well, I found a way you can get back at Brandon and his company, but first of all, you would have to ask your mother to tell you the truth about your father,” Elizabeth said and Jeff stared at her confused.

“What are you talking about? My father is Christopher Mikealson and he died years ago in a car accident, so what am I missing out on?” Jeff asked looking confused

“What if I tell you Christopher was never your father,” Elizabeth said and Jeff chuckled and stood up.

“I’m not going to sit and listen to this anymore, you should go back to your family,” Jeff said and was about to leave when Elizabeth spoke.

“You should ask your mother, then you would know I’m not lying to you,” Elizabeth said and Jeff paused. He gave Elizabeth one last glare before walking away.

Immediately, Jeff left where Elizabeth was, he went straight home.

He walked through the front door and entered the house, he saw his mom watching TV.

“You are back, I thought you were going to the company,” Rosa asked as she picked up the remote and switched off the TV.

“Mom, is Christopher my biological father?” Jeff asked and Rosa felt her heartbeat increase at once.

“Of course honey, why do you ask?” Rosa said feeling nervous. She wondered where Jeff had heard what he was saying.

Jeff moved towards his mom and took her hand while staring deep into her eyes.

“Mom, I need you to tell me the truth, was Christopher my father?” Jeff asked and Rosa blinked twice, she removed her hands from that of Jeff and looked away from him.

“He is your father,” Rosa said and Jeff frowned.

He knew his mom so well and knew when she was lying to him and now he refused to believe she was lying to him.

She just wants her to say yes that Christoper was his father.

“Why are you lying to me? ” Jeff yelled and moved towards Rosa and held her by her neck, choking her.

“Let go of me Jeff, you are hurting me” Rosa cried out and Jeff quickly let go of her neck.

Tears slipped down Rosa’s cheeks.

“He’s not my father right!?” Jeff asked this time in a calm time with the look of disappointment on his face.

Rosa started shivering, more tears slipping down her cheeks.

He knew the truth already, his mom lied to him, Christopher Mikealson was not his father.

“Who the hell is my father?” Jeff asked, looking so furious.

“I don’t know,” Rosa said and Jeff chuckled

“Don’t you dare lie to me. Who the hell is my father?” Jeff yelled, this time looking more than angry, his eyes were so red. All his veins were so visible because of the anger he felt deep inside of him. He clenched his fist and then hit it on the wall.

“Who the hell is my Biological father?”

“I don’t know who he is, Jeff. I’m telling the truth. I don’t know”
