Chapter 267 Calvin Li’s True Identity

"So what?" Jean looked at Joy coldly and questioned. She was so afraid to meet Joy at the hospital.

While looking, Jean realized Joy was carrying several plastic containers in her hand. 'Obviously, Joy

"And you are..." Joy was stunned by Calvin's attitude. She really didn't know who this guy was and his

audacity to speak up shocked her.

"You don't need to know who I am. The only thing you have to know is that Jean is my friend so you

can't hurt her anymore. Seeing what you have done now, I have some advice for you." Calvin passed

Joy a death glare.

When Jean heard what Calvin said to Joy, she wanted to rush forward to stop him but her arms were

held tightly by Moore.

This was not how Jean wanted to confront Joy after the indecent video was posted online.

Taking a deep breath, Jean tried to calm herself down. She figured Moore trusted Calvin more in this

matter so all she could do now was to watch.

Every time Jean tried to move, Moore gripped her arm tightly. Angered for holding her prisoner, she

threw back Moore a spiteful look.

"Go ahead. I'm listening." Since Calvin didn't tell Joy who he was, Joy started eyeing him down for

some clues. After a while, she thought Calvin to be another boy who wanted to please Jean. This

knowledge brought her some relief and she said, "How about telling me the affair between you and

Jean? Where did you and Jean first meet? Did you sleep together? I really am eager to know. Please

tell me! I'm waiting!"

There was a sly smile on her face and she spoke loud enough for everyone around to hear.

Her words made Calvin feel disgusted. Face becoming rigid, he stared straight into Joy's eyes. Joy was

startled by his coldness and was suddenly forced to zip her mouth shut.

"Hey, watch your mouth! Just because I'm being polite doesn't mean that I can't be rude. Mrs. Wen,

think twice before you speak. Or I will make your suffer throughout your life. Do you want to try?"

"Is that a threat?" The big smile on her face was gone now, and she trembled while she spoke.

"A threat? I don't like to threaten people. But if you test my patience then I may have to do it. How

about I give a call to the Li Group right now?" Every word uttered by Calvin threw Joy off guard. Minute

by minute, her brave face turned into a nervous one.

On hearing Calvin's mention of Li Group, Joy became alarmed and asked carefully, "Which Li Group?"

"Which is the Li Group you have in mind? That's right! It is the Li Group which can make Wen Group

vanish in H City overnight." Calvin expected an answer and stood staring into her eyes.

Joy regretted creating a scene today and wished she hadn't uttered those words.

"Oh, let me introduce myself. I'm Calvin Li. Nice to meet you, Mrs. Wen!" Now Joy was utterly shocked

and words failed to form. Calvin continued, "Remember my words! Keep away from Jean. If I ever

come to know that you treat Jean this way again, then you will see my true color."

Finishing the sentence, Calvin turned around and walked toward Jean and Moore who had a stunned

Not wanting to create more drama, Jean walked behind Calvin even though her surprise hadn't faded.
