Alpha King’s pregnant Ex-Luna

In the darkened room, Alpha Kilian’s instincts kicked in as he reached out swiftly, halting Tony’s deadly intentions. Their eyes locked in a tense exchange.

Both Alpha Kilian and Tony had bloodshot eyes, fueled by the feral instincts that threatened to consume them.

“This is not the path you should walk,” Alpha Kilian growled, his voice carrying the weight of authority.

As the police burst into the room, Alpha Kilian acted quickly, taking the dagger from Tony’s grasp and concealing it. The room was flooded with harsh lights, revealing the chaotic scene before them.

The police wasted no time in apprehending the “main culprit,” but their attention quickly shifted to Gary, clinging to life on the edge of death. Urgently, they called for medical assistance to save him.

A middle-aged man in uniform, Zeke Zeller, approached Alpha Kilian with a furrowed brow. “Alpha Kilian? What are you doing here?”

“Hello, Mr. Zeller,” Alpha Kilian greeted nonchalantly, his voice laced with the dangerous undercurrent of a predator. “It’s been a while.”

Zeke’s surprise was evident. “Indeed, it has. But to think you’d bring such chaos to our next encounter! Was this man after you?”

Alpha Kilian’s gaze shifted towards Nelly, standing steadfastly by his side. “Yes, he intended to come after me, but he chose the wrong person.”

Curiosity gleamed in Zeke’s eyes, eager for more answers, but Alpha Kilian faltered momentarily, swaying from his injuries. Concern flooded Zeke’s features. “You’re wounded,” he stated, recognizing the blood staining Alpha Kilian’s abdomen.

“It’s nothing,” Alpha Kilian dismissed, clutching his wounded stomach as blood continued to spill forth.

Zeke’s voice quivered with apprehension. “This is no minor injury. Your grandfather will have a heart attack if he sees this. Someone, call a doctor!”

However, Alpha Kilian’s attention had already shifted to Nelly. He approached her swiftly, his lips pale and his gaze filled with anguish as he observed the cuts on her arms. “Are you alright? Does it hurt?”

Nelly shook her head, a smile gracing her lips. “I’m content with the outcome.”

Upon catching her smile, Alpha Kilian smiled as well, but his eyes fluttered shut, and he crumpled to the ground.

“Alpha Kilian!” the room erupted in chaos.

Emergency personnel swiftly transported Alpha Kilian to the hospital, his life hanging precariously in the balance.

Thalia, feeling a responsibility to ensure justice, made her way to the police station to provide her witness account.

A police officer turned his gaze towards Tony. “Young man, were you the one who called us?”

Instinctively, Thalia shielded Tony in her arms. “Yes, he did. I instructed him to call for help. The situation was dire, and that was the only recourse we had!”

The officer chuckled, attempting to ease the tension. “I was merely inquiring. There’s no need to be so nervous.”

“I am not nervous. I am doing my best to provide all the information I have!” Thalia retorted, grinning defiantly.

Nervous?

“I am Thalia Jacoway! I have faced much worse than this! Why would I be nervous?” she thought, though her heart raced with trepidation. If her superiors discovered her involvement with the police, the punishment would be severe.

Aware of Thalia’s efforts to protect him, Tony smiled and nodded approvingly. “Yeah, everything you said was the truth.”

Returning his nod, Thalia paused for a moment before speaking. “Don’t tell Sam about this.”

“Are you afraid of him?” Tony asked, curiosity tinged with concern.

“I just don’t want to cause trouble,” Thalia replied, the weight of her actions heavy on her mind.

“Don’t worry. You entered this situation because of me. I’ll have your back, even if he finds out,” Tony assured her.

Thalia turned to him, raising her eyebrows in surprise. “Really?”

“From now on, your problems are my problems. I will make an enemy out of anyone who tries to harm you,” Tony proclaimed, gratitude evident in his voice. Thalia had risked everything to protect him.

Touched by his unwavering loyalty, Thalia couldn’t help but break into a sincere smile. “Do you mean it?”

Tony nodded solemnly. “Yes. Nelly taught me to never lie to the people I care about.”

Thalia’s heart swelled at his words. “Aww… So, you do recognize how kind I’ve been to you!”

A glare accompanied Tony’s response. “Don’t talk like that.”

Uncertain how to respond, Thalia mulled over her thoughts.

“Speak like a normal person, will you?”

“Tony Jackson!” Thalia exclaimed, her frustration giving way to gratitude.

Where did that come from?

“Why the sudden change in mood?”

Tony struggled to express himself verbally, but he understood all that Thalia had done for him. He noticed her efforts and genuinely cared for her well-being.

With a gaze filled with sincere appreciation, Tony said, “Thank you for today.”

Confusion etched on her face, Thalia couldn’t fathom what prompted his gratitude.

“Why are you thanking me all of a sudden?”

Unfazed by her question, Tony remained resolute. “I wasn’t good at expressing myself with words, but I saw everything you did for me today. From now on, your problems are my problems, too.”

Thalia was deeply moved by his declaration. “You mean it?”

Tony nodded, his determination unwavering. “Yes. Nelly told me to never lie to people I care about.”

Overwhelmed by a surge of emotion, Thalia whispered, “You have no idea how much your words mean to me.”

Tony, however, remained focused on the important task at hand. Suddenly remembering something, Thalia turned to him with a question.

“Tony! I have a question.”

Seeing the mischievous glint in her eyes, Tony understood that she was up to something. But he also knew he owed her his gratitude.

“What is it?”

“Did you really intend to kill that man?” Thalia inquired, unable to believe a young boy could harbor such violent thoughts.

Tony pursed his lips, silently contemplating his answer.

After a moment of silence, Tony responded, “I wasn’t thinking clearly at the time. All I knew was that I would fight anyone who dared to hurt my mother. My actions were driven by instinct.”

Thalia gazed at him, admiration and awe filling her eyes. This child was truly unique.

“But what if someone were to do the same to me one day?” Thalia pressed, her mind racing with possibilities. “Would you want to kill them too?”

Tony pondered the question briefly before shaking his head. “I wouldn’t.”

Surprised and slightly dejected, Thalia probed further, “Why not?”

“Because that person wouldn’t even have a chance to do it,” Tony declared with unwavering conviction.

“But what if they did have a chance?” Thalia’s curiosity persisted.

“In that case, there would be no ‘ifs.’ There would be no chance for them,” Tony replied with an intensity in his eyes.

Overjoyed by his response, Thalia couldn’t resist pinching his adorable face. “I’m so glad I’ve treated you well all this time!”

Tony’s expression turned sour, displeased by the act.

Undeterred, Thalia pressed on. “But, Tony, promise me one thing. Promise me that you’ll never let your impulses guide you down a path of no return. Impulses can be dangerous, especially for someone as young as you.”

A warm smile graced Tony’s lips as he locked eyes with Thalia. “I promise.”

Unable to contain her affection, Thalia grinned at him.
