Chapter 392 Wesley's Dating
Chloe found it amusing. "So, who is he with? You?"
Rosie raised her head. "In every way, I'm a better match for him than you."
Chloe admitted that Michael was indeed very charming, which was why he was always surrounded by a swarm of admirers.
Handling such situations had become routine for her.
"You're probably the fourth or fifth person to say that to me. What makes you different from the others?"
Rosie hadn't expected Chloe to be unfazed by her words.
She had intended to anger Chloe and make her lose composure.
"I don't mind if Mr. Shawn fires me. I will prove my worth with my professional skills and stay at Lotus Manor."
Chloe nodded indifferently. "Well. Good luck with that."
Rosie was taken aback. "Mrs. Shawn, you seem so confident. Why did you ask Mr. Shawn to fire me if you're not afraid?"
"I don't want to be overconfident. And I didn't ask him to fire you."
Chloe didn't want to continue the conversation. As she stood up, she glanced at Rosie. "If you want to prove yourself, I can ask Michael to let you stay and continue working."
She wasn't afraid of Rosie staying at Lotus Manor.
She wasn't targeting her specifically.
Watching Chloe leave, Rosie felt very resentful.
Although she had only been with Michael for a few days, he perfectly met all her criteria for an ideal partner.
Everything about him, from his family background to his personal charm, attracted her.
The only obstacle was that he was married.
After Rosie left, Michael looked at Chloe with concern. "She didn't hurt you, did she?"
"How could she hurt me?"
It was just some typical talk.
"Chloe, I didn't know how to be a good husband in the past few years. From now on, I'll be more attentive and avoid doing things that upset you. I'll also be more mindful of your feelings and emotions..." Hearing this, Chloe immediately raised her hand to stop him. "Stop. You don't need to say this to me. Save it for your next wife."
She remained indifferent and went upstairs without listening further.
Michael felt a bit dejected.
Emma walked over to comfort him, "Sir, Mrs. Shawn will notice your change. You will reconcile."
"No, not as before."NôvelDrama.Org owns all content.
Their beginning wasn't good. At first, he didn't like her and caused her a lot of pain.
He realized that he didn't want things to be like before.
He wanted her to feel his sincerity and love.
He promised that the things from the past years wouldn't happen again.
That day, Chloe had just clocked out from Bright Moon International and was about to visit James in the hospital when she unexpectedly saw Wesley downstairs.
"Mr. Jenkins, what a coincidence. Are you here to see Mr. Dale?"
Chloe thought it was a coincidence, but Wesley said, "It's not a coincidence. I'm here specifically to see you."
Chloe was puzzled. At this stage, she didn't think there was anything she needed to discuss with him alone.
Even if it was about a collaboration, it should wait until next year.
"I'm here to talk to you about Candy."
Candy?
Chloe was even more confused.

"So, you mean you and Candy were dating before?"
After hearing what Wesley said, Chloe felt shocked.
So, Wesley was the one dating Candy before.
Seeing Wesley nod, Chloe asked, "What do you want me to help you with?"
"I want to meet her."
