Chapter 373 Flirtation
She didn't talk to Chloe but looked at Michael.
"Mr. Shawn, Mrs. Shawn didn't like the food I matched for her, so I don't think I can handle the job as a dietitian. How about you hiring someone else?"
Chloe was confused. "I just don't want to drink lemon juice today. It's no big deal, right?"
Was it necessary for her to make such a big deal out of it?
"My job is to provide my employer with the healthiest diet, and I need to make sure you are supplementing your body with the nutrient elements it needs every day. If you don't eat this today and that tomorrow, my job will be ineffective, and I'll be embarrassed to get paid."
Rosie's explanation made perfect sense.
But Emma could hear that Rosie was blaming Chloe for not listening to her.
Who should she exactly listen to in this house?
Chloe wasn't trying to fire Rosie.
But if Rosie wanted to leave, Chloe wouldn't stop her.
She was right that she was nothing more than a dietician, and there were a lot of people like her in the market.
So Chloe just looked at the lemon juice in front of her without taking a sip.
On the contrary, Emma felt the atmosphere was awkward, so she took the initiative to admit her mistake.
"Mr. Shawn, it's all my fault. I didn't make it clear to Ms. Baker what Mrs. Shawn didn't like to eat, and I was remiss in that!"
Rosie still insisted on leaving her job.
Chloe felt that maybe people who worked in Rosie's industry just had strong self-esteem.
"I didn't mean to target you today, because I really don't like lemons. Maybe Emma forgot to tell you yesterday. The microelements in lemons can be replaced with something else, but it's not as severe as you think."
At this moment, Michael finally said gently, "If she doesn't like lemons, you can change it to something else."
How could it be so troublesome?
Weren't there a lot of things that could replace lemons?
Hearing what Michael said, Rosie finally lowered her head, which had been raised a moment ago.
"I got it, Mr. Shawn."
Chloe didn't finally drink that glass of lemon juice.
After dinner, Chloe planned to go out.
"Where are you going? I'll drive you."
"No need, I'll go find Candy."
At the entrance of the cooking show, Chloe saw Candy wearing a long dress at a glance.
"Did you change your style?"
Chloe remembered that Candy would never wear such gentle dresses before.
"Dress styles can certainly be changed."
Chloe curled her lips. "Where's your boyfriend?"
Candy glanced at her cell phone. "He should be here soon. Chloe, you can't reveal me in front of him later, and you'll just cooperate with me."
Chloe thought it was a bit ridiculous, but she nodded.
As William appeared before them, Chloe felt surprised.
He took off his chef's uniform from the restaurant and wore a white shirt with the sleeves rolled up to the elbows. He wore golden glasses, looking casual with restraint. "Sorry, I'm late."
"No, we just got here, too. Let's go inside!"
William nodded elegantly and offered to help Candy with her bag.
Chloe followed them, feeling as if William did seem to be nice.
At least Chloe's first impression of him wasn't terrible.
Candy never cooked, but it was pretty hard for her to come to a show like this for William.
She listened to William introduce and explain things to her all the way there.
Candy also had to pretend to be interested.
"Mr. Clark, you are such a good cook, so it must be a blessing to be your girlfriend!"
William smiled lightly, "Maybe, but I don't have a girlfriend yet."
Candy got even more excited when she heard that.NôvelDrama.Org copyrighted © content.
"Mr. Clark, you're so brilliant, but why can't you find a girlfriend? There should be a lot of girls who like you, right?"
William shrugged. "Maybe it's because I'm too busy working."
He said ambiguously.
Candy continued to say in order to keep the conversation going, "But it's normal. I haven't been in love for a long time either, and I was in my school days the last time." Chloe listened beside her, thinking that Candy was so bold.
"Ms. Parker, did you also have very little relationship experience?"
