Addicted to Luring – Mister, Please Behave

Chapter 8: Being Bullied Like This

After coming out of the Walters Family home, Rex’s face darkened, and he directly stuffed Wendy into a black Bentley with smooth lines.

Clare followed him to the front passenger seat and carefully glanced backward. “Mr. Gavyn, should we go to the hospital or……”

“Dolin Villa.”

Rex’s cold voice came about. A layer of frost appeared in the air.

Dolin Villa was Rex’s villa.

It was rumored that anyone who lived in Dolin Villa was either rich or powerful. It had always been developers who chose roomers. Even if someone had the money, it wasn’t easy to enter.

The people living inside the villa were all celebrities of the upper class.

However, they didn’t know that Rex also developed Dolin Villa.

Rex was as handsome as a sculpture. His sharp eyebrows were tightly knitted as he narrowed his eyes and looked at the little woman in his arms.

Her body was hot, and the dirt and hair on her forehead stuck together, making her look embarrassed.

Staring at her small face without any makeup, Rex couldn’t help but feel agitated. He raised his hand and pinched the bridge of his nose. His sharp eyes swept around as he said, “Tell Kincaid that since he won’t take care of Wendy, I’ll do it.”This content © 2024 NôvelDrama.Org.

The cold aura pressed down.

Clare quickly nodded. “Yes, Mr. Gavyn.”

Clare couldn’t help but break out in a cold sweat. It was rumored that Mr. Gavyn didn’t get close to women, so why did he suddenly agree to the proceeding of the engagement and stand up for Wendy?

The black Bentley drove into the traffic stream and stopped twenty minutes later at Dolin Villa.

Rex didn’t let anyone do it. He picked Wendy up by the waist, took off her black suit, and covered her with it. Then, he strode into the villa with her in his arms.

Seeing this, the steward was too shocked to speak. ……

Master Gavyn brought a woman home?

Without needing Rex’s instructions, the private doctor of the Gavyn Family was already waiting in the living room. When he saw Rex come in, he hurriedly carried the first-aid kit and followed him.

After examining Wendy’s body and treating the wound on her forehead, the doctor wiped away the cold sweat on his forehead. “Mr. Gavyn, this lady’s wound is inflamed, and she has a fever. She needs an IV drip.”

“Yes.” Rex sat on the soft sofa. His sharp face was cold, and his eyebrows seemed covered with a layer of frost.

“I’ll put all the medicine here. Take it three times a day on time.”

Rex’s eyes flickered as he nodded. “Butler, see him out!”

“Yes!”

The housekeeper had been with Rex for so long that he more or less understood his temper. Seeing the situation, not only did he send the doctor out, but he also took Clare out. He even thoughtfully closed the door, leaving the two of them alone.

After everyone left, the room suddenly quieted down.

The woman on the bed didn’t seem to be sleeping well. Her beautiful brows were tightly knitted, and her face was pale.

“Wendy, we haven’t seen each other only for a few hours, and you’ve turned yourself into this?”

Rex spoke indifferently. His deep and mellow voice echoed in the empty room.

Seeing no reaction from the person on the bed, he sighed and touched her hair in loneliness: Wasn’t this girl very sharp-tongued when he left yesterday morning?

How could she be bullied like this after he had not seen her for a day?

Rex paused for a moment before glancing at Wendy’s pale-white neck.

Perhaps it was because of the violent movements just now, but the buttons of her shirt were loose, revealing her white skin, which was covered with a light pink color.

Rex’s sharp eyes suddenly darkened. He controlled his heavy breathing, clenched his fists, and turned to leave.
