A Vengeful Girl

Chapter 258 Taught A Lesson

Chapter 258 Taught A Lesson

Nelson had planned to hand Stacy over to Linda, but he changed his mind, and decided to question

Stacy himself. It was almost 11 p.m, and Linda would certainly be asleep.

"I have no idea what you are talking about, Mr. Li."

Nelson frowned, "You think we will let you off if you keep denying it?"

Stacy's face remained lowered.

"There's nothing to deny because I didn't do anything. I was just an ordinary servant who worked for

the Nalan clan for more than a decade. You and your men forced me to come with you for no reason.

I...I can sue you for that, you know! "

"Sue us? Let's see you try."

Nelson would not go easy on anyone who wanted to harm Linda. Besides, he had sufficient evidence

against Stacy and the puppeteer pulling her strings. He had to find who the mastermind was at all

costs.

After hearing Stacy defend herself, Nelson chuckled. If he hadn't have enough proof, he wouldn't have

brought Stacy back.

Now Nelson's first task was to find out who gave Stacy the orders, because she was just a servant who

had nothing to do with Linda. There's no way she had a motive and the nerve to harm Linda.

Nelson bombarded Stacy with a lot of questions. But she remained stark silent, which played on

Nelson's patience.

For an instant, Nelson thought beating her up would be a way to make her tell the truth. But he finally

dropped the idea. After all, using force was illegal.

Now Nelson didn't know what to do.

He decided to let Stacy stay at the room which she had lived in, for a night, to work out what to do next

tomorrow.

Nelson ordered two of his men to guard the room in case Stacy wanted to sneak away.

Even though Nelson tried not to attract attention when they got home, Rosy still learnt of her capture.

They caught Stacy Kang?

Rosy began to panic.

She called Jessie immediately.

"Where are you?"

Jessie was annoyed because Rosy's call had interrupted her in the middle of the night.

She was in a hotel now, with her father's friend, Making every effort to please him. She was afraid that

Rosy would know what she was doing, so she answered in a sort of guilty haste.

"I...I am at home..."

"Come to me now! Something is up. You remember the servant Stacy?"

"What's wrong?"

"I just saw Nelson bring her here. We have to work out a solution in case she betrays us. Once

grandfather learns about what we have done, he will not go easy on me."

Jessie glanced at the man beside her and was at a loss on how to act properly.

If she left right now, she would lose the Hermès handbag she had been craving for so much.

"Well... I'm in the middle of something. Can I come to you tomorrow? No need to worry. Stacy assured

us that she won't betray us even if she is caught. She has a lot to loose if she does. Calm down."

"Tomorrow? What are you doing now? Didn't you say you were at home? What are you doing at home

that's making you so busy?"

Rosy felt pretty nervous.

"Many things, for example...uh...I'm staying up with my father." The excuse Jessie made up amused

the man.

"We are good friends. You don't have to hide anything from me. Now tell me. Have you got a new

boyfriend?" Rosy asked.

Jessie grew impatient with Rosy and tried to lower her voice, "Well, I have to go. I will come to you

tomorrow. Remember. No need to worry."

Obviously, the man staying with her was not her father.

He was an old frend of her father's, Jessie had known since she was a little girl.

The man became Jessie's sugar daddy when she was ten years old, buying her everything she

wanted.

At that time, she was too young to know that there was no such thing as free lunch.

Now she had grown up and had to pay for what she got.

Even though the Luo clan was rich, Jessie's father believed children should count on themselves to

make money. He had been very strict with her consumption.

But Jessie was a girl and she loved fancy things like luxury clothes and handbags and wanted

someone to buy those for her.

When she was a little girl, Jessie came across her mother with a man who wasn't her father, but she

didn't dare say a word.

It was a nice winter morning.

Linda woke up and put on her heavy coat.

She walked to the dining room, and found breakfast on the table.

Lily was doing her morning exercise in the yard and Anna was reading a medical book.

Anna smiled when she saw Linda approaching, "Good morning, My Lady. Have a seat and enjoy your

breakfast."

"Oh my gosh. I thought I wake up pretty early. How could you and Lily wake up earlier than me?"

Linda looked at the wall clock. It was around 7 a.m.

"I'm used to getting up early. It's good for my health."

When Lily saw Linda wake up, she stopped exercising and walked to the dining room.

"Morning, Linda. Why did you get up so early today?"

Her question made Linda blush. She felt sleepy all the day after she became pregnant. Even though

she went to bed very early like at 10 o'clock, Linda couldn't wake up till 9 the next morning. Content provided by NôvelDrama.Org.

"Lily, you mischievous monkey. Do you want me to instruct Nelson to teach you a lesson?" Linda said.

"Do what you please. You always use him to threaten me, but I am not afraid of him at all. Believe it or

not, I can beat him up." Lily pouted.

"Wow, ladies. Who do you want to beat up in the morning? It's not good to use force."

Nelson walked over after the servants told him the Linda was up.

He heard they were talking about beating someone when he walked in. He was undoubtedly intrigued

by the trajectory of their conversation.
