Chapter 1380
Hanna and Amelia hurriedly supported Rosalie, while two bodyguards quickly pushed way for them ahead. The five of them got into a car quickly.
Rosalie knew that she couldn’t panic at the moment. The more panicked she was, the more emotional she would be. It would endanger her unborn kid.
She tried to take a deep breath and steady her breathing. “C-Call Jonathan and tell him I’m on my way to the hospital because of abdominal pain,” she said to the bodyguards in the front row.
“Yes, Mrs. Youngblood.” The bodyguard hurriedly called Jonathan.
After that, Rosalie didn’t say anything more. She knew that Jonathan would arrange everything after knowing her current condition. When she arrived at the hospital, the doctor would be ready to examine and treat her.
Rosalie grasped Hanna’s hand tightly. It hurt so much but Hanna didn’t cry in pain or say anything because she knew that Rosalie was in more pain than her.
“Rosalie, I’m really sorry for putting you and your baby in danger,” Amelia said guiltily.
“Amelia, it’s none of your business. Well, the baby is malpresented. I’m mentally prepared to risk my life to give birth to this child,” Rosalie explained.
“But…” Amelia said.
“Jonathan has already prepared for anything. I’m certain I can keep the baby. I’m pretty sure,” Rosalie murmured. It was getting harder and harder for her to speak.
Seeing this, Amelia hurriedly said, “I see. Say no more! Save your strength and have a rest.”
Rosalie stopped talking and closed her eyes, knitting her brows and biting her bottom lip. Amelia and Hanna were aware that she was in pain.
Hanna pulled a tissue from the tissue box and wiped the cold sweat off Rosalie’s forehead. She had envied Rosalie for being a mother, but Calvin snapped at her at that time.
Calvin should have long known that Rosalie would be in danger if she gave birth to this child. That was why he was so angry when she told him she was envious of Rosalie.
What if Calvin knew that Rosalie was in danger now?
He would be heartbroken by the news. Her heart couldn’t help but ache for him when she thought this.
After how long a time they didn’t know, the car finally arrived at the hospital. The doctors and nurses were already waiting for them. They quickly placed Rosalie on a stretcher bed and wheeled her inside the hospital, followed by Amelia and Hanna.
Rosalie was taking emergency treatment at the Amelia and Hanna waited outside in the corridor.
Hanna stroked her wrist and looked at the closed door nervously, hoping Rosalie was okay.
“Hanna, what’s wrong with your hand?” Amelia suddenly asked.
“Huh? N-Nothing,” Hanna replied vaguely.
Amelia took Hanna’s hand and saw streaks of blood on it. The skin of some parts was broken.
She suddenly remembered Rosalie had been grasping Hanna’s wrist. Obviously, she had scratched Hanna.
However, Hanna didn’t cry in pain or say anything along the way. She even had no intention of mentioning it now.
“Did Rosalie scratch you? Why didn’t you say it along the way?” Amelia asked.
“It doesn’t hurt very much. Besides, Rosalie hurts a lot more than me. It could help her to ease some pain while grabbing my hand,” Hanna replied.
Amelia grew fond of Hanna.
“Hanna, thank you,” Amelia said thankfully.
“Never mind. As long as Rosalie is safe and sound,” Hanna said shyly.
While they were talking, a figure hurried over. It was Jonathan.
“Jonathan, Rosalie…” Jonathan interrupted Amelia when she was about to tell him what had happened. “I’ve already known everything.”
Jonathan didn’t sit on the chair in the corridor but stood in front of the door of the emergency room. His face was full of anxiety, unrest, and fear.
When Hanna met him at the banquet, he looked so calm and elegant as if everything was under his control. But he was so different now.
That must be because he deeply loved Rosalie.
Suddenly, Hanna’s phone rang.
Hanna glanced down at her phone screen. It was Calvin’s call. She hurried to the corner of the corridor and answered the call.
“I’m in your studio now. Your two assistants told me you went to lunch. Are you done eating?” Calvin’s voice came from the other end of the line.
“I-I’m in the hospital now,” Hanna said.
“Hospital? What happened? Are you sick?” Calvin asked.
“Not me. It’s Rosalie. I met her and Amelia while having lunch. But she…”
Before Hanna could finish her sentence, Calvin cut her off in a worri voice. “What? Rosalie is in hospital now. Which one?”
Hanna had never heard him sound so worried before.
It was hard for her to imagine. Such an indifferent man would say in such a worried voice.
While Hanna was in a daze, Calvin became more and more irritable. “Tell me which hospital Rosalie is in!”
“Huh?” Hanna suddenly came back to her senses and quickly told him the address.
Before she could say anything more, Calvin hung up on her.
Hanna stared blankly at the phone in her hand. Calvin loved Rosalie very much, but it wasn’t as obvious to her as it was now.
Hanna went back to her seat in front of the emergency room and waited quietly.
She was waiting for Rosalie to pass the crisis and the arrival of Calvin.
She was very unrest, her heart pounding.Content protected by Nôv/el(D)rama.Org.
Finally, the door of the emergency room opened and the doctor stepped out. Jonathan dashed towards him. Amelia and Hanna also quickly got up and stepped forward.
“The baby is safe for now. Her water leaks a bit, so she needs to stay in the hospital for observation tonight. She should be on complete bed rest until labor starts,” the doctor said.
At that moment, Rosalie was also pushed out of the emergency room by the nurse. “How are you feeling now? Is your abdomen still in pain?” Jonathan asked, looking at her nervously.
